It's Time for Unity!

In 1 Cor. 13 Paul is talking about love. We quote this scripture at weddings and we use it in relational counselling. However in this scripture I think there is also a broader context. We must have love for our fellow believers, even those of different denominations and streams of revelation.
I personally believe there is no ONE Christian or ONE GROUP of believers who has ALL the anointing, ALL the wisdom, ALL the heart of the Father or ALL the answers. God in His wisdom and mercy did it that way so we would need and rely on one another.
In vs 9 & 10 of 1 Cor. 13 Paul says ,“For our knowledge is fragmentary (incomplete and imperfect), and our prophecy (our teaching) is fragmentary (incomplete and imperfect). But when the complete and perfect (total) comes, the incomplete and imperfect will vanish away (become antiquated, void, and superseded).” (AMPC)
None of us has the whole picture. God did it that way not to divide us, but so that we would lean-in to one another, gleaning and learning from one another and becoming one body. That was Jesus’ prayer in John 17. He prayed that we would be one.
Now more than ever we must come together as the body of Christ. Let us pray together. Let’s be the church, the WHOLE church and nothing but the church. Let’s be known for how we love (and honour and respect) one another. In this season of great physical divide, it is not a time to be divided spiritually.
When we glean from one another we do not surrender what we already know. We simply allow Holy Spirit to enlarge our revelation. That is maturity. Fear separates. Love looks for ways to unite. It’s time for the mature sons (and daughters) of God to arise in unity.
